Essential: Art in Quarantine - Gallery Takeover by Whitney Pintello -

Gallery 1202 present its 2020 Artist Takeover by Whitney Pintello, "Essential: Art in Quarantine."  Pintello, a local artist native to Gilroy, will be exhibiting works produced solely during the shelter-in-place order during the COVID-19 pandemic.  The work shown are largely from two bodies of art, vintage glass paintings, and abstract paintings.  During the quarantine, Pintello started experimenting with abstraction and was prolific in her output.  The show will feature several different series of abstract works that can be collected as a set, or individually.  Additionally, she will have several works on vintage and antique windows, a more familiar medium but she has challenged herself to a more complicated subject matter, Italian Sculpture. 

We will have a social distanced opening reception on August 29th from 12-8pm, with timed entry. PLEASE BRING YOUR MASK - We will have masks for sale at the gallery as well.
